On May 27th, 2011 we will be going to the Feilding Market to look at the vegetables that are sold and visiting two of the supermarkets to look at their vegetable section and where they store the vegetables before they are in the store.

Welcome to 2011 in Room 15

We would like to share with you some of the maths activities that we have been learning about since starting school this year.  They are dice numbers, finger patterns to 5, using tens frames and counting objects.

Term 4

Welcome to Term 4.  After a very busy term with production during term 3 we continue with another very busy term.  In two weeks (October 26th) we have our cross country event at Victoria Park.  Year 0/1's are expected to run one lap of the feild so we have been practising running around the courts and school.  We have been focussing on keeping a steady pace so that we don't have to stop during our lap.  Jump Rope for Heart will take place during this term also.  At the moment we are practising some art techniques to use in our calendar art.  Each of us will make a picture that can be made into a calendar or card and purchased by family members.  They make great Christmas presents!
